The Peat Monster

Compass Box created its first peaty whisky at the request of the Goldstein family for its Park Avenue Liquor Shop back in 2003. Its popularity resulted in the creation of a new batch, aptly named The Peat Monster given its big, rich, smoky-peaty flavour. Today, The Peat Monster has retained the peaty intensity for which its renowned, whilst adding a depth and elegance to the experience. 

But fear not, if it’s a trip down memory lane you’re after, The Spirited Club also has some availability of the 20^th anniversary Limited Edition of the original Peat Monster, bottled at 56.7% cask strength and finished in part with custom-made, seasoned, virgin American oak barrels.
